Plank Table
Built using old wood planks, this bar height table was designed to feel at home indoors or outdoors.

Using 1.5” square steel tubing I fabricated a simple one piece frame. The former fence planks are held in place by two threaded rods that run perpendicularly through them, and the frame. Bolted on each end of the frame, the compression creates a butcher block like surface. Focusing on the connection, I avoided using adhesives or nails. The goal was to create an heirloom quality table with minimal new material, and think this succeeded in doing so.
