I wanted to create an American Flag light in a similar construction to my Ben Day Light. Again I used a plate steel back plate with threaded steel bar welded as the mounting points. I put two acrylic layers, one for the stripes, one for the stars, overlapping. I built this both in the traditional Red White and Blue, as well as using the exact opposite colors.
